On-line Resources

Complete Spanish (from LanguageTransfer.org)   Complete Spanish begins by homing in on, deciphering and exploring the Latin element of English, and converting it right into Spanish!  The course uses a thinking method instead of a memorization method.  There are 90 downloadable video files (in MP4 format). For best use these MP4 files should be converted to MP3 audio file format because there is no useful video material, just audio. The audio can be burned to a CD to play in the car, or loaded onto an MP3 player.  It is worth going through the entire course several times.  You won't find a better language instructor than the one for this course.  The course and course materials are free, but please consider donating to this excellent organization.

Celas-Maya Spanish Language School   Celas-Maya is an accredited language school in Guatemala.  It offers language immersion on-site while students live with host families. They also offer lessons via Skype internationally at reasonable prices.  All teachers at Celas-Maya have at least seven years' experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language.  They are professionals with university degrees or university students in their final years of study, and come from a variety of disciplines.  They receive ongoing training to ensure consistency and quality in methodology and instruction.
